Ava Kozielski
Having lived in Rhode Island for most of her life, Ava is incredibly excited to be working with RIGA during her gap year and beyond. She completed her undergraduate degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY in May of 2023, receiving a B.S. in Biomedical Science and is currently in the process of applying to Medical Schools for the 2024 cycle. Ava has always had a passion for genetic research and medicine, as she was born with a genetic disorder herself, and is looking forward to bringing her own perspective and fund of knowledge and optimism to the RIGA Team. In the future, Ava would like to be a practicing pediatric endocrinologist and inspire others to always persevere the same way her doctors did for her.
